gifts that make a difference in the lives of widows and widowers in Tarrant County,
by making a donation to TCaware in honor of employees and clients or in memoriam of
a loved one.

Gifts fund the Senior Isolation Initiative which combats physical and social
isolation that contributes to health problems, depression, substance abuse and
suicide among older adults. By providing outreach and screening of isolated older
adults, development of individual re-engagement plans, transportation
assistance-volunteer and public, home repair and modification, telephone
reassurance, 24-hour crisis line, linkage with other resources and other much needed
programs.

"During the holiday season it is essential to continue our programs and the holiday
gifts make it possible." said Susan M. Witts, Executive Director of TCaware. The
holiday season is a time to remember our loved ones both near and far. Please don't
forget about the elderly that have no one to remember them at this time of year.
